Cast On calls itself the "Education Journal for Knitters" and is the official publication of the Knitting Guild of America. This is the very first issue of what became their regular magazine. It includes only two patterns, plus an article on how to deal with mistakes in knitting, and another piece on how to adjust the size of your knitwear even after it is finished.
