Book - VogueDesigner Series, Kazue Kato
The Vogue Designer Series focuses on the work of individual designers, in this case, Kazue Kato. Kato became an independent freelance designer in 1965, established the Atelier Kato in 1969. She moved to Paris, established the Atelier Ruby Cousin Co. in 1975, designing and selling original knitwear. She opened the Lubie Kazun boutique in Japan in 1982. There are 25 designs for sweaters for women in this collection, both for casual and more formal wear. See our photos for some of the patterns.
If you aren't certain if you can read a Japanese pattern, see our guide, here. It includes sample pages plus advice on how to use Google's artificial intelligence and Translate to read the Japanese text. We've included a pattern page in our photos for you to check out.
