"This season I have been inspired by the idea of the 'Artist's Muse,' the colours and textures of the 'Winter Season' and finding hidden treasures in my grandmother's sewing basket... big buttons, lace trimmings, brightly coloured silk threads and vintage photographs.
"All these things have come together and inspired all aspects of my yarn and design collections this season. From the choice of fibers and shades, the patterns and techniques used in the designs through to the way we have photographed, styled and propped the images and laid out the pages of this book."

"Putting the collection together has been a joy and this book has been very personal for me. I wanted 'Portraits' to reflect my view of femininity, how we would like to see ourselves, beautiful and ethereal, but with an undercurrent of humour, as we must never take ourselves too seriously. I thought it would be fun to put a painting in each photograph and have paid homage to a few artists and their paintings such as the image of 'Bowler,' influenced by Rene Magritte's 1964 painting 'The son of Man.'
